Lio Józef Gibes was born into the arms of Jesus on May 12, 2026, at 1:19pm, surrounded by the deepest love a family can hold. Though his life with us was heartbreakingly brief, his impact will be cherished forever. Lio entered this world as our big little boy. He was born weighing 11 lbs, 6 oz, and measuring 22 inches long, with a head full of dark brown curly hair. In his short time, he left an indelible mark on the hearts of his family.
Lio was the precious son whose presence resembled his father's, a true twin to his dad. He was the beloved baby brother to Kai and Mia, as well as fur brother to Milo. Cherished by his family, Lio was the youngest nephew of his grandmother, Wiktoria, and grandfather, Andrzej, who preceded him in heaven. He was also the youngest nephew to his Great Aunt Halina and the great-grandchild of Wiesława Gibes and Józef Gibes (in heaven).
During his time in the warmth of his mother’s embrace, Lio grew with strength and spirit. He especially loved staying up late with mommy, sharing special moments of stillness and movement. His favorite meals in mommy’s belly were Philly cheesesteak and Subway, and he would always become most active at night, kicking with energy that spoke volumes about his vibrant soul. Lio also developed a sweet tooth for ice cream, a playful nod to his lively personality even before birth.
His name was chosen with care and love, perfectly fitting his powerful and courageous nature. Lio was strong like a lion; his unmistakable kicks reassured his mother he was always there. Though his time was much too short, the love that surrounded him was boundless, and the memory of his strength and spirit will remain with his family forever. He is so severely missed, spoken of with love and tenderness, and held dearly in the hearts of all who awaited his arrival.
"We love you so much buddy. Until we meet again. Sleep tight our little angel." - Mommy and Daddy
